Support Worker
Pay rate: £15 (weekly pay)
Shift Pattern:8am-4pm 9pm - 7am
Requirements:
Previous experience working with individuals with Autism and mental health diagnoses.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide VISA sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in/around the Birmingham area and able to commute.

We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in Birmingham.

You will be working closely with an young person with an mild learning disability with a diagnosis of narcolepsy and cataplexy. The position entails providing assistance with medical, personal care, and daily tasks. You will collaborate both independently and as part of a team, working shifts to ensure round-the-clock care. If you are resilient, reliable, empathetic, and looking for a role that truly makes a difference to someone else’s life then we want to hear from you

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Knowledge of working with Learning Disabilities and Autism
  • Experience managing a team
  • Minimum 2 years experience within health and social care
  • Previous experience of supervising staff
  • Ability to deal with conflicts
  • Ability to deal with behaviours which may challenge
  • An understanding of safeguarding and ability to identify safeguarding issues
