Pay Rate: £12.55 per hour
Shift Pattern:

  • Weekdays: 06:30am – 18:45pm / 20:45pm – 06:30am

  • Weekends: 07:00am – 18:00pm / 21:00pm – 07:00am

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team and provide person-centred care to an individual living in their family home in Rotherham.

This individual has complex clinical needs, but that’s just one part of who they are. Your role will be to empower them to live life to the fullest—supporting both their daily care needs and their enjoyment of meaningful, enriching activities.


What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll provide high-quality, 1:1 care that is tailored to the individual’s specific needs. You’ll play a key part in their life by:

  • Supporting them with daily routines, personal care, and mobility

  • Promoting social engagement and wellbeing through outings and community activities

  • Assisting with household tasks to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe home

  • Communicating in their preferred style to build trust and connection

  • Working as part of a consistent team to ensure continuity of care and emotional support


What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have prior experience in care and a genuine passion for supporting people with complex needs. You should also have experience in the following areas:

  • Complex care

  • Autism

  • Epilepsy

  • Behaviours that challenge

  • Mental health support

Being empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure are essential qualities for this role.
