We have a truly special opportunity for the right person to support a bright, engaging individual who lives in their home in Carlisle.

This person lives with a muscle condition that affects her daily life, and while she has some complex health needs, that’s only one small part of who she is.

She loves gardening when the sun is out, baking cakes, and spending time with her much-loved dog and bird. She also enjoys getting out and about.

This role is about more than just support—it’s about connection. You’ll be helping her do the things she loves, access the community, and live the life in the way that matters most to her. You'll also support her at home with daily routines, including personal care and staying safe and comfortable.

We’re looking for someone who ideally has:

  • Experience supporting people with complex needs

  • Understanding of Positive Behavioural Support and behaviours that may sometimes be seen as challenging

  • A kind, patient, and person-centred approach

If you're someone who values meaningful relationships, is calm under pressure, and takes joy in helping others live life to the fullest, this could be the perfect role for you.

You won’t just be providing care—you’ll be helping someone live well.
