Job Introduction
Quality Improvement Officer
Remote (with nationwide travel required) | Full-time, permanent | £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
At Acuity Care Group, quality isn’t just a checklist—it’s the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a Quality Improvement Officer who’s passionate about driving meaningful change and keeping the people we support at the centre of it all.
This role is for someone who’s curious, analytical, and committed to high standards, but also understands that good quality starts with good relationships. If you want to influence how care is delivered across services, not just observe from the side-lines, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting services to deliver safe, effective, high-quality care—every day, not just for inspection.
• Carrying out audits and reviews that actually lead to improvement, not just paperwork.
• Working closely with managers, clinical teams, and operational leads to drive positive change.
• Helping ensure we’re always inspection-ready by guiding services on CQC compliance.
• Monitoring complaints, incidents, safeguarding cases—and helping bring them to meaningful resolutions.
• Feeding into governance and improvement meetings with clear, accurate data and insight.
• Contributing to a culture of learning, transparency, and accountability.
• Helping us roll out PSIRF, satisfaction surveys, and service-wide improvement initiatives.
What you bring:
• Experience in a quality role in healthcare or social care (Registered Manager or Quality Lead ideal).
• Solid understanding of the CQC regulatory framework and quality standards.
• Confident in auditing, analysing trends, and producing practical action plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication—you know how to influence as well as inform.
• Strong IT and data-handling skills.
• A full driving license and access to a vehicle (you’ll be out and about a fair bit).
• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience.
• Resilient, self-motivated, and able to juggle competing priorities with calm confidence.
What makes this role different?
We’re not looking for someone to simply police policies—we want someone who gets excited about making things better. You’ll be part of a passionate, knowledgeable team that values continuous improvement, and you’ll have the chance to shape how quality is understood and embedded across the whole organisation.
Ready to make an impact?
